june snow

nothing like a hard days work in the rain and mud. we are going to be finishing the rope course on tuesday... i'll put a pic of the final project then... but to keep you filled in on the progress, this is what i was in charge of doing: setting 19 anchors... putting up a mess load of cables (using all sorts of bolts and tools that have become a newly acquired ability of mine), and swageing. this swageing machine creates about 13 tons of pressure... a machine you want to know how to use correctly... lots of fun though.


as for this next picture...that's right... i woke up to a blanket of snow this morning, looking a bit like this picture... it all melted away within a couple of hours, but then it started snowing again... with more snow in the forecast.
now, i took a whole lot of heat (no pun intended) for going to michigan because it was "so cold" in the winter. so why didn't anyone bug me about going to colorado, where it snows in the summer?
