getting dizzy on may day

today is a big day for the senior class... college decisions were due by today, so now everyone (hopefully) knows where they are headed next fall... it's interesting to hear where everyone is off to. i have been having fun telling people that i changed my mind and am now going to BYU hawaii.

i had someone tell me that they missed my helmet today... i must confess i miss it too.

you can call me "coach"... i forgot to mention that i am the jump coach for the middle school track team... it's kind of cool, them calling me coach stavro/coach cristina. it's been about two weeks now, and it's fun to see them having fun jumping and all, and they are actually some pretty cool kids.

today i am going to chick-fil-a after school to talk to my boss about my two week notice... it's weird because technically i am quitting, but i don't look at it that way, its just kind of like, well, i am done working. there's no harsh reason why i am "quitting," it's just i want to have the last 4 weekends (which is what i will have after quitting) before graduation to be free to hang out and do stuff.

one reason why i am sad april is over... when writing the date on homework or papers, ialways write numbers, like for instance today is 5/1/07. however, in the month of april, i will always write "april" and not use "4" (April 1, 2007)... no idea why, i just like how the world april looks... it's a mighty fine looking word.
may is an ugly word... as is august... i really don't like writing august... probably my least favorite.
