sticky situation

snow, and lots of it in the forecast... and it is supposed to stick!

good and bad. good, cause snow is cool.

bad, because i am running in a little turkey trot tomorrow morning here at calvin (its not put on by calvin, just hosted). so its a little 5K run around calvin's campus, and of course, tshirts!

is it bad when, as you are running from your dorm to your car because it is raining multiple times throughout the day, you think to yourself, hey, got a little bit of running in today, good preparation for the race...and then call that your training? hmmm

so tonight i had a blast with rebekah at her grandparent's house... which is awesome, by the way. we played air hockey, worked on puzzles, had a wonderful dinner (you forget what real food is like after adjusting to the dining halls... haha, just kidding, the dining halls arent that bad). we even saw some deer (which is what the video is of). i must say, i am pretty good with wildlife documentaries... you think national geographic would hire me?

so, happy thanksgiving to all! in light of the holiday, i am gonna share one thing that i am thankful for... of course i am thankful for each and every one of you (even the random people that might come across this blog who i don't even know... i am thankful for you too), but also that i get to be here... truly, this, being at calvin, taking on this pretty crazy adventure... its a blessing to be able to do this.

i am also thankful that it is three weeks until i visit home! its gonna be a blast...

and so i will end with my thanksgiving farewell that i've been giving:

miss ya guys, love ya guys... eat a lot of mashed potatoes.

haha nice video! i like how rebekah says "look at the bunny" and then you pan up with the camera. last time i checked bunnies do not live in trees. :)
