so this link above... you see the word mattel. mattel is a company that has been in the family for a long time (also the place where i recieved my kindergarten degree :) first graduating class of mattel!) anywho, i came across this link that has the whole list of all toys that have been recalled by mattel and fisherprice (which i think mattel owns). i don't know why, maybe i am weird, but i found it really fun/fascinating to go through this list and see what toys have been recalled... the best part? is they totally describe in detail why each toy has been recalled. just click on the toy listed, and it tells you why it's been recalled and also what incidents have been reported in relation to this recall.
all hazards are tested and then found by the US consumer product safety commission, and they find the most nit picky things. but hey, when you're dealing with infants that have absolutely no control over what they're doing and children that actually will eat the magnets or lick their toys, they're doing the right thing i guess.
