finally

by golly gee whiz... it's been hectic, but it has finally started to slow down a tad.
and i've managed to mix a few "firsts" in with all these "lasts" i've been having to deal with... it's nice, i must say.
yesterday was the first time i 1) was a part of a studio audience 2) part of a LIVE (on the east coast) audience and 3) on tv (although it was just the back of our heads two or three times).
two friends and i went all the way out to studio city to go be a part of the studio audience for On The Lot. we got there (really) early so we ended up exploring a bit and getting a bite to eat... it's a neat town. something strange about studio city: at least two pet grooming places between each stop light... no joke. it became quite odd. people love their pets in studio city... maybe a little too much.
after waiting in to get in to the studio, we finally got our seats. really cool thing: they actually have a person who is in charge of placing certain people in certain seats for camera aesthetics, at least for the center front section (which we were a part of!). it was really fun to see them change people's seats and stuff.
so then we found out the should would be live on the east coast! how cool is that! it was soooo much fun. unfortunately, they guy i wanted to go far in this competition got voted out last night :(
so that was yesterday.
today, i had another first... i learned how to use a sewing machine (don't worry, she doesn't read my blog :) i was quite nervous at first and had visions of sewing my hand down, but it wasn't so bad after i started to get the hang of it... hardest part? pressing down that pedal.
...
...
on friday it's my first time graduating (shocker), so that'll be fun.

yay for firsts (most of them, at least).

Technically, it's your 3rd graduation. Unless you're not counting 6th grade and 8th grade.

at the taping since you were in the middle section, does that mean the back of your head is aesthetically pleasing?! :)
