i just picked up this sweet little map thing that marks out where all the bike paths are in grand haven and in holland.
i am going to be biking a ton now, and my car is going to get a little rest, for the most part, for the rest of the summer. pretty much all the places i go (yes, including 8th street :) i can get to by bike... i only have to carry my bike about 100 yards to get to the bike path from where i am living right now (the road i am on only has gravel on the side of the road, and it's not too safe to bike on the road).
and there is a bike path that goes from holland to grand haven along lake michigan (lake shore drive)... i am going to do that one tomorrow!
so excited, so excited!!!
and maybe if i get good enough at the unicycle...
haha

the bike path! find the ride you like the best and when i come out to visit you someday we can take a ride on it. i actually think i may have managed to ride a bike now without injuring myself! :)
oh, and i probably shouldn't tell you this, but they had pumpkin pie flavor at golden spoon tonight! so sad that you weren't there to enjoy it with me. :( soon though...it'll go by fast.
