wireless

well, i am settled in for now. i am currently sitting in my little room, enjoying the surprising and newly found wireless. i had no idea there was wireless... but going out on a whim, i opened up my laptop and sure enough, a strong connection from the wireless they have set up in their house. i have to say it makes me really happy, in a kind of shallow way, but hey... now you get to enjoy more frequent posting :) haha

happy 4th of july, by the way... i hope y'all enjoy your fireworks... out here, we'd have to wait until almost 10 to enjoy some fireworks since it's gets dark so late, so i don't plan on staying up for that... i'll be fast asleep, hopefully.
tomorrow i get to spend the day with some friends who are originally from out here, but i've known them as fellow bellflourians (or bellflower-ites). anyway, they are out here for the holiday, so i'll get to hang out with them tomorrow.
and i got to play tennis today... golly it is humid! the guy i played with said it's not normally this humid (almost 80% humidity), but a little less humid and a little bit more heat. i'm not sure which i like better... but it was crazy... i was so SO happy to play tennis... it gave me a break for a moment, set my mind on tennis for a bit.

holy smokes... it's almost 9pm... i have to get used to this whole light thing...
