any early birds???

i have just been busy lately... it's a good thing, though. better than sitting aroud doing nothing, right!
yesterday jenny and i went to third street promenade because we had lunch before that with my aunt in beverly hills. two words to describe how i feel walking around these cities... native foreigner. i know i am native to california, but boy do i feel like a foreigner in beverly hills! i mean, the stores are so nice! and the doors to the stores... they are so fancy that i am afraid to even open the door! i did find a north face store in beverly hills though, and it was pretty cool.
the promenade was fun to walk around. there are some really cool things to look at there, and the weather was really good. and! i had no idea that there was an rei at the promenade!!!! it is HUGE!
and speaking of rei, i stopped by the manhattan beach one yesterday to return something and saw that there is a used gear sale tomorrow morning!!! i love these things. however, it will be my first solo mission, so if anyone wants to come, let me know... my pops is enjoying the warmth of palm desert right now, and i'm not sure my neighbored even knows that it is possible to wake up while it is still dark outside. but be warned, it is a very early morning thing. it is fun though!!!!

well, i am off to my bi-annual haircut! actually, i think this is my third one this year... wow, new record! i'm feeling a little daring... that could be bad...
